BAALYAA Montessori and Kindergarten school started practicing Kindergarten and Montessori Methodology of Education for the children. Three Physically Challenged Children admitted in the Main stream curriculum

Emergency help for throat operation for poor and needy women extended and operation successfully done in Royapettah Government Hospital, Chennai
Conducted a week programme for the women in pottery and handicraft under self development programme of the Trust.
Distributed clothes for the poor people in Trisulam, Chennai with the help of DMS Sisters, Trisulam.
Rehabilitation of poor and destitute women under the “Community Rehabilitation programme "of the Trust
Under the auspices of the “ Eradication of Elephantiasis“ programme of the Government of Tamilnadu, distributed medicines in Keelakattalai area of Ward 14 of Pallavaram Municipality, Chennai in March 2002.
Conducted Art and Craft camp for the women and children under the Education programme of the Trust.
Conducted competition for ladies and children for arts and crafts on 13.10.2002.Around 300 participants took part.
Conducted polio camps under Pallavaram municipal area for 2 days on 11.2.2203 and 5.3.2003. More than 200 kids were administered polio drops.
A filarial awareness camp was conducted on 30.03.2003.Door to door campaign was conducted. About 200 households were covered.
To promote self help amongst poorer women in Madipakkam area, twice every month, the women were called to teach them handicrafts and household utility makings. About 50 ladies were benefited.
Free books and instruments for the physically handicapped of the poorer sections of the society were distributed to a number of times in the year.
BAALYAA Montessori and kindergarten school has 20 kids undergoing studies. The school gets membership of International Montessori Society, USA. The school is run on no profit basis and as another social activity.
Teachers training in Montessori and kindergarten methodology conducted. 8 teachers got benefited.
VARNAJAAL Competition and carnival for ladies and children for arts and crafts was held on 28. 12. 2003 in Madipakkam. Around 500 children and ladies participated. Mrs.K.Malarvizhi, Inspector of Police for all women Police Station was the chief Guest. Mr. Illango, Project officer, Social Welfare Board, Tamilnadu graced the occasion.
A sports event was conducted for slum dwellers of Gandhi Nagar, Keelakattalai on 24.12.2004. 150 people from the slum participated.
Shakthi Ladies club was started under the aegis of the Trust to promote self help amongst poorer women in the Madipakkam-Keelakattalai area. Twice every month the women were called to teach them handicrafts and household utility items. 60 ladies were benefited.
Free books and instruments distributed to physically challenged and poor.
Free Medical camp conducted in October 2003 for diabetes awareness. Another camp in January 2003 for cancer detection and education.
Women’s day was celebrated on 8.3.2004 and books, clothes and cash donations were given to mentally retarded people.
Workshop for Self Help Groups was conducted in candle making and home products.
Medical camp for diabetes, Dental and ortho awareness and check up was conducted on October3, 2004. Dr. Neela,Gynocologist, Dr.Nagarajan, Cardio thoracic surgeon and Dr. B. Jayakrishnan, Dental surgeon were the doctors conducted the camp.
Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue Station, Tambaram conducted fire fighting drill and education on fire safety to General Public on October 3, 2004.
Competition for general public and slum dwellers was held in October 2004.Miss C.R.Saraswathi, Chairman, Tamilnadu Social Welfare Board graced the occasion with her presence.
Conducted job Oriented Nursery training for Women and teachers.

Integrated special children with learning disability in regular stream and curriculum.
Service to orphanage, old age home and home for the mentally ill.
Conducted PEPSMEAR test Camp For detection of Uterus Cancer for Women with the help of BM hospital, Nanganallur, Chennai
The Trust along with an NGO participated in the tree plantation programme in the neighborhood under the theme “Plant a Tree, Keep your neighborhood Green".
The Trust supported the Government of Tamilnadu initiative of help to Tsunami victims during December 2004/January 2005 by organizing relief materials like clothes and money.
March 2006: Training camp on “Dyslexia” and earlier childhood development. Beneficiaries 10 teachers.
April 2006: Visit to orphanage and distribution of provisions to the inmates
May 2006: competitions held for ladies for self development. Visit to Birla Planetarium for astronomy education .Beneficiaries 25 ladies.
June 2006: workshop on “Entrepreneur skills” for self group groups and seminar on Fire safety measures conducted by “Fire Warriors”.
July 2006: environmental awareness programme “Green thy Neighborhood” for the neighborhood
August 2006: support for medical attendance and eye operation .Financial support to two widows for rehabilitation
September 2006: Awareness programme on Chikungunia.
October 006: Drawing competition held for 450 school children of Government school, Keelkattalai (Certificates and prizes issued)
November 2006: Distribution of sweets and prizes to Government school children on children’s day 14th November. Beneficiaries 450 school children.
December 2006: anniversary celebration of Vishvodayaa Trust. Talk on Stress management and Safety awareness programmes by Tamilnadu police were conducted.
January 2007: Diabetic and heart care camp held.
February 2007: safety/precaution awareness programme with Keelkattalai police station for school children
March 2007: children with learning disability from Madhuram Narayana Center integrated with main stream education. 6 children given free education
BAALYAA school celebrated the annual Anniversary celebration in March 2003.The school conducted “Water Therapy project for the children. The children learnt community bathing and also the use of water for health reasons cleanliness and conservation. Baalyaa School conducts special education camps for the children. Special education instructors teach the children on motor skills and give speech therapy for those who lack. Mental sharpening skills are also imparted. Balayaa school integrated the children with learning disabilities with the main stream children by giving extra attention to such children. The school has a special activity zone.Baalyaa has lots of sensorial activities which enliven the children. Even parents are also involved to learn the nuances of the early childhood education is, that same can be practices at home.
Shakthi Ladies Club
Shakthi Ladies Club functions under the aegis of Vishvodayaa Trust. This trains the volunteer groups to function independently and become women entrepreneurs. Shakthi ladies club has conducted various display demonstrations to showcase the self help group activities and their entrepreneurial abilities. Tamilnadu Social welfare board chairman and the director have graced the occasion with their presence during such demonstrations. Some of the corporate houses like Pidilite industries have sent their representatives to teach art and craft using different material using Pidilite products. Glass painting, hard board painting, cloth painting, oil and color painting candle, paper bags greeting cards and model making exercises have been undertaken for the self help groups.
